Women's Short Ribbed Silk Socks Black

These black short ribbed knit socks are made from very high quality, ethically sourced silk. They are specifically knitted with a non-constricting ribbed cuff to fit your legs in all circumstances. The overstitching of the ribbed cuff accentuates their delicate and feminine side.
Silk is a "thermo-regulating" material: the socks are cool and light in summer and warm in winter. They are supple, soft with a velvety touch, and particularly comfortable.
Hand-linked without seams, this finish is particularly neat and appreciated. As the silk used is particularly sensitive to friction, the heel and toe are reinforced with an extra thread of mercerised cotton, thus providing a strong product and considerably increasing its longevity.
"Soie" inscriptions on the toe and "Berthe Aux Grands Pieds" under the foot are knitted directly during the manufacturing process of the sock.
This model of short silk socks is made exclusively in France by Manufacture Perrin 1924 in Montceau-les-Mines (71).
