Women's ribbed silk ankle socks Ecru

These short ivory ribbed knit socks are made from very high quality, controlled origin silk. They are specifically knitted with a non-constricting ribbed cuff to adjust to your legs in all circumstances. The overcasting on the ribbed cuff accentuates this very delicate and feminine aspect.
Silk is a "thermo-regulating" material: the socks are cool and light in summer and warm in winter. They are supple, soft with a velvety touch, and particularly comfortable.
Hand-linked without seams, this finish is particularly neat and appreciated. As the silk used is particularly sensitive to friction, the heel and toe are reinforced with an additional thread of Mercerised cotton, thus providing a strong product and significantly increasing its longevity.
"Soie" (Silk) inscription on the toe and "Berthe Aux Grands Pieds" on the sole, knitted directly during the manufacturing of the sock.
This model of short silk socks is made exclusively in France by Manufacture Perrin 1924 in Montceau-les-Mines (71).
