Carefully reinforced

Because silk is sensitive to repeated friction, we have reinforced the toe and heel with mercerized cotton yarn (Lisle thread). This choice guarantees both better abrasion resistance and a nobility of material, living up to the expectations of Berthe's loyal customers.

The toe of each pair is closed by hand with a reknitting technique. This precise and difficult to acquire gesture allows for a seamless finish, without pressure points or discomfort in shoes.

The underside of the sock displays "Berthe Aux Grands Pieds" in red, and "Soie" (Silk) is inscribed on the toe in the same shade.
