The raw wool is subtly mottled with charcoal grey and black. The threads and stitches are carefully chosen to make this sailor sweater as chic as possible. The knit is very comfortable to wear because it is very fine thanks to the 1/1 rib knit in gauge 12. The assembly is exemplary with overlock, chain stitch, and coverstitch, attesting to the very high quality of manufacturing. These sailor sweaters, seemingly ordinary, are actually very unique thanks to the asymmetrical elbow patches and the blue/white/red trim placed on the edge of the right sleeve.
