Women's Whale combed cotton socks
Description
Japanese culture inspires Berthe
A tradition for the Japanese since the Middle Ages, this whale escapes while splashing its hunters. A sign of freedom, she swims off into the immensity of the seabed where she will be safe.
100% French savoir-faire
Knitted primarily from combed wool, these socks can be worn in autumn and especially in winter; they will keep your feet warm. Reinforced at the heel and toe, they will be resistant to rubbing in your shoes. The toe seam is fine, preventing discomfort for greater comfort. The top of the shaft features a wide red pinstripe. The cuff is also flexible, allowing the sock not to compress your calf. Our socks are knitted entirely in Montceau-les-Mines, Saône-et-Loire by Manufacture Perrin. A word from the creator, Régis Gautreau
"A whale dives into Japanese waters. Berthe loves whales and Japanese art. Whales are popular with the Japanese, which forces them to take refuge in the deep sea for fear of being caught... This creation has a simple and refined design."
Care instructions for "the whale" socks
Our socks are of fine craftsmanship, so special care must be taken. We advise you to always machine wash them inside out at a maximum of 30°C. For wool socks, use a suitable detergent and very little spinning. Dry cleaning, tumble drying, and bleaching are prohibited!
Oeko-Tex certified raw materials
