An ode to the Art Deco movement
The "Art Deco patterns" socks are inspired by the Maison Bleue, a residential building constructed in 1929 in Angers, Régis Gautreau's beloved hometown. This building has been listed as a historical monument since 1998, 1 year before BERTHE was founded! These are anything but just socks... they are a true work of art!

100% French savoir-faire
Knitted with 65% Scottish fil d'Ecosse cotton, these socks are thin, light, and breathable. Reinforced at the heel and toe, they will be more resistant to friction inside shoes and will last longer. The toe seam is fine, making it imperceptible and more comfortable as it doesn't chafe the foot. The cuff is topped with small yellow protrusions, a whimsical element unique to the BERTHE brand. "The transparent patterns of these socks are inspired by an Art Deco door of 'la maison bleue' built in 1929 by Gabriel Créteau. This building is located on rue d'Alsace in Angers. This creation is simple, understated, chic. The 3D elements, knitted in yellow thread and located at the top of the flexible leg in harmony with the sock's heels and toes, illuminate this creation."

Care instructions for Art Deco pattern socks
Our socks are of excellent quality, and special care should be taken with them. We advise you to always machine wash them, inside out at a maximum of 30°. Dry cleaning, tumble drying, and bleaching are forbidden!
