Berthe Aux Grands Pieds plain knit socks made from very high quality, controlled origin silk. They are specifically knitted with a non-compressive ribbed cuff to adapt to your legs in all circumstances.
Fantastically, silk is a so-called climate-regulating material: the socks are cool and light in summer and warm in winter. Fully Lycra-vanised, they are supple and particularly comfortable. The knit is full, substantial and smooth.
Hand-linked seamlessly, this finish is particularly neat and appreciated. The heel and toe are reinforced with a highly resistant foamed Nylon thread, thus producing a strong product and considerably increasing its longevity. As the silk used is particularly sensitive to friction, the heel tops are reinforced to prevent any contact of the silk with the shoe counter.
