Old pink ribbed silk short socks

These powder pink short socks in ribbed knit are made of very high quality silk of controlled origin. They are knitted specifically with a non-compressing ribbed edge to fit your legs in all circumstances. The overlock of the ribbed edge accentuates this very delicate and feminine side.

Silk is a so-called air-conditioning material: the socks are cool and light in summer and warm in winter. They are flexible, soft with a velvety touch and particularly comfortable.

Hand-stitched without sewing, this finish is particularly neat and appreciated. The silk used being particularly sensitive to friction, the heel and the tip are reinforced by an additional thread of Scottish thread, thus obtaining a solid product and considerably increasing its longevity.

This model of short silk socks is made exclusively in France by the Manufacture Perrin 1924 in Montceau-les-Mines (71).
