When local expertise makes headlines!
Journal de Saône-et-Loire featured Manufacture Perrin in its Montceau - Le Creusot - Autun edition on July 10, 2025, following a visit to our workshop organized on July 9. Journalist Camille Poirson (whom we warmly thank) provides a fascinating account of her experience, as part of the "Behind the Scenes of Businesses" operation organized by the Creusot Montceau Tourisme Tourist Office.
Discover Unique Expertise
This exceptional guided tour takes you to the heart of our factory, certified as a Living Heritage Company, where rare and precious expertise has been perpetuated since 1924.
It begins with the model room and the history of the founding Perrin family, then delves into the daily life of our workshops, including raw materials, the design office, the knitting workshop, finishing (hand or machine toe closing), boarding (steam oven treatment to give the sock its final shape and size), pairing, packaging (labeling, boxing/packaging), then storage and logistics.
It's a true immersion into the behind-the-scenes of French manufacturing, highlighting the skill, precision, and passion of our qualified workers.
