The support of the Minister of Economy and Finance, Bruno Le Maire

On Monday, July 16, 2018, we presented to the Minister of Economy and Finance , Bruno Le Maire , the connected socks project for American hospitals that we recently told you about.

Bruno Le Maire discovered an innovative company, while measuring the difficulties of the textile sector. "We are looking for 10 people and we have trouble finding people to train," Franck Couturier , from Perrin socks , who makes the connected socks designed by Texisense , told him. The Minister of Economy and Finance is well aware of this and because he believes in industrial jobs, he is banking heavily on profit-sharing, free of contribution obligations. "If you give 1000 euros to an employee, it will not be 1000 euros minus 200 euros of what I consider a tax," said the Minister.

It was not without joy that he discovered the principle of connected fabrics. In these famous socks with which, in the United States, a study will be carried out on 2700 patients. "Your company is proof that we can conquer markets abroad", he said to the directors of the Texisense company and in particular to its CEO Francis Cannard and Marc Barsoum, its sales director. "France remains a great industrial country and I have always been convinced that textiles have a future", he added.

This meeting was an opportunity for rich discussions on French manufacturing and the medical applications that the textile industries can claim!

Thanks to Texisense , a startup with which we are working on this project, for welcoming all the teams to their premises in Torcy (71) as well as to Mr. Bruno Le Maire for his visit and thanks to Alain Bollery and Creusot-infos.com for the photos and the report.
