La Manufacture Perri n is taking a major step towards greater sustainability by announcing the installation of solar panels on part of the company's 7,500m2 of roofs . This ambitious project will allow the company to cover 35% of its annual electricity needs . Keen to reduce its environmental footprint and energy bills, this installation represents an investment of €360,000 that it hopes to amortize in just six years.

Towards clean and renewable energy

Manufacture Perrin has always been concerned about its impact on the environment. This is reflected in the selection of its raw materials (Oeko-Tex and GOTS certifications) and in its very DNA of local production. It is therefore quite logical that it decided to switch to solar energy to meet part of its energy needs. The 773 solar panels installed represent a cumulative power of 290 kWc , a capacity that will allow the company to generate 320,000 kWh of clean electricity each year. This transition to solar energy will significantly contribute to reducing carbon emissions and preserving natural resources.

A local, responsible and certified project

To carry out this major project, La Manufacture Perrin called on Planète+ , a local company based in Mâcon and certified RGE Qualibat. This collaboration made it possible to guarantee a quality installation, respecting the strict standards in force in the renewable energy sector. The choice to collaborate with a local installer demonstrates Perrin's commitment to the economic development of its region and its support for businesses in its territory .

The trust of partners and insurers

Before bringing the project to fruition, La Manufacture Perrin submitted the solar panel installation plan for analysis and validation by its insurer AXA and its Montceau-les-Mines agency. Its approval demonstrates the relevance and reliability of the project . It also marks recognition of La Manufacture Perrin 's commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility .

One step closer to sustainability

The installation of this solar panel system is part of a global approach to improving sustainability within La Manufacture Perrin . Previously, the company had already replaced all of its lighting with devices using LED technology , thereby significantly reducing its energy consumption . The installation of solar panels represents a major step towards energy autonomy and demonstrates the company's ongoing commitment to actively participate in the ecological transition .
