The Perrin Honfleur Factory: partner of the Great Estuary Gathering
The colours of the Manufacture Perrin de Honfleur were proudly displayed last weekend on one of the boats taking part in the Seine Bay Regatta organised by the Cercle Nautique Honfleur (CNH) .
This 23rd edition , which should have taken place on July 1 and 2, 2023, had been postponed due to unfavorable weather. It was finally held on Saturday, September 9 .
Open to all types of sailboats, whether monohulls, one-designs or multihulls, and appearing on the French Sailing Federation Championship Regatta calendar, this event was accessible to all levels.
The originality of this event lies in the possibility for participants to register their boats under their original names or those of a sponsor. In the latter case, they race for free but must in return accept one or two crew members selected by the sponsor.
The Manufacture Perrin Honfleur and its two amazing skippers Alain and Isabelle therefore left their stalls of tights and socks for a day to take part in the traders' regatta aboard Brigitte and Alain Lambert's Astrolabe . The race took place in good weather and "under a very light wind" according to Isabelle.
