Le label Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV)
The prestigious award “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant “ (Living Heritage Company, or EPV) is a distinction awarded by the French government to honour French companies for artisanal and industrial excellence. To receive such an award is a great honour and highlights Perrin Manufacturing’s dedication to its craft.
After rigorous review, the French government sometimes rewards small and medium-sized companies that are emblematic of French industrial excellence and for outstanding craftsmanship.
Some criteria for this award are the mastery and advanced knowledge of culturally traditional fields or groundbreaking advances thereof and thereby generally associated with the region in which it is found.
Positioned among the world’s leading manufacturing powers, France itself excels through mastery of rare traditional knowledge often linked to art and culture. France has also a long distinguished history in technological innovation, and is an integral part of French heritage.
Perrin Manufacturing having being honoured with the EPV award for distinguished excellence in manufacturing and artisanship, further heralds French companies as a force to be reckoned with in the face of global competition.
The EPV award is the only state distinction aimed at recognizing and promoting exceptional craftsmanship in domestic and global markets, and it recognizes the strong link between innovation and tradition which are the main assets of French artisans and industry.
The Perrin Manufacturing is also proud to display the “Made in France” label which further highlights our commitment to French manufacturing. 100% of our products are made in France and manufactured in our Knitwear factory since it was first established in 1924.
Needless to say, achieving the stringent criteria necessary to win the esteemed EPV clearly brings distinction and added value to the “Made in France” label in both the eyes of the domestic and international buyer.
The EPV award, as an ambassador further, underlines the success of the “made in France” initiative!
